It features a combination of ceramics and paper craft. The paper crafts part represents the nature and ceramics represents man made structure.

I found that the paper cuts became more visually interesting when I wrapped them around objects like a plant winding it’s tendrils around a fence or a building. I decided to build some structures from clay inspired by the shapes of fences. I used coils of clay laid into a plaster mold to create a lattice work.
